New To Blogging

Hello, hi, howdy, shalom, bonjour, ciao, 'allo mate...etc, etc, etc

As I am the new kid on the block around here I bid you all greetings and salutations.
Before we begin I must warn you of the following things:
a) I have an awful grasp of punctuation? Please, inform me of my grammar and punctuation mistakes. I don't mind. I can't get it right if I don't learn from my mistakes.
b) I like gigantorifically big words. Even if that involves making some up.
c) I am a middle child. This requires me to have been the comic relief in the family. But as I was also forgotten about fairly often, I believe more things I do and say are funnier than they really are.
d) I like to make lists. I didn't even make it ten lines into my first blog without one...

Now on to insulting the majority of you....

I used to project quite a dim perception of blogs, bloggers, and blogging. Alas, as unwilling as I am to admit this, my mind has been changed. In a roundabout way, I must thank my lovely sister-in-law, Tracy. (that still looks weird)

Due to a conspiracy as yet uncovered by any members of my family, she fell in love with the honking big galoot that I refer to as my shorter brother. This happenstance has led to many wonderful things. My brother is a better person, our family is quite happy, and my sister, Tina has a sibling she likes. Not that he wasn't a good person before, not that our family wasn't happy already, and not that Tina doesn't begrudgingly like me, but Tracy has upped the ante so to speak. How this turned into a love fest I am sure I don't know. Anyhow, through Tracy I have met many fun and interesting people. None more....interesting than Sarah. I was introduced to her blog and have now made it a part of my weekly reading. In the course of perusing her blog I have:

a) wondered at the capacity of humans to be severly intelligent, thoughtful, and wise creatures, yet nearly every one of us have pulled something akin to the 'My Eye Broke' incident. Maybe not akin, but at least semi-comparable.
b) Learned about TK snoring
c) watered at the mouth for that ahi tuna steak at the Royale
d) sprayed a nourishing tomato-based soup on my laptop

These are the reasons I have decided to blog as well. Those and the fact that it is widely known that keeping a diary/journal/blog is a much healthier way of self expression than condemning others to have to listen to me kareoke. Plus, who knows? Maybe it will get me back into my other writing.

I think that is quite enough of an introduction at this point. You've met some family, gotten some insight to my inner workings, and yet you are still around at this point. Kudos. Don't want to scare anyone off too early...
